Couldn't help think of our good friend Stuart here on Stuart Island. I believe there is a better grass strip on the other end of the island. We also see plenty of float planes flying over. Every time we think of you and Patty and the Dry Tortugas. Here at this cozy little spot the landing is uphill, of course no problem for a pro like you. Hope you visit sometime, meet us in Alaska maybe.

ReplyDeletePatti and I went flew back out to the Tortugas about a month ago for some camping, and naturally you guys were in our hearts and in our thoughts. We got interviewed by a couple from "Nature Valley" granola bars who were touring the national parks and getting paid to do it! (it has come out on their website, yet, but stay tuned)The hard part was telling them that we have been flying out to the Tortugas for over twenty years (Jeez-where is my walker?)
