I have a certification to breathe enriched air now. passed the test with 100% on the questions - woohoo.
Karen and I went to the "Botanical Gardens" today - and spent a long time there.
also redid Zeelandia Beach with her. then we had dinner tonight at a Chinese place.
Tomorrow night we have dinner at the Dive Statia owners' home all 8 of us plus some of the owners' friends.
today at the night dive, the divers saw two leatherback turtles and a green turtle about 3.5' to 4' in diameter - big deal as these are endangered. They also saw sea fleas which were attracted to their flash lights - swarmed all over their arms. They saw lobsters.
david Quarton will upload all his dive photos and videos to the folder David Quarton when he gets back to the states next week. He has really good pics and some wonderful videos. Glad he is sharing.
Found out Karen has been diving with these other 6 divers for about 10 years - they dive all over the Caribbean once or twice a year - they've been to Bonaire and Grand Cayman and the Turks Belize and on and on.
You guys have really been covering some ground. Great stuff.
